What are Tree Braids?
Tree braids are made by attaching loose human bulk hair to your own locks, strategically leaving out strands of hair extensions while still securely braiding away your own hair. The finished style looks just like any other hair weaving method, though tree braiding has the versatility to take on a more braided or free-flowing look, as you please.
First of all, there are two different ways to tree braid: the cornrow method and a technique involving individual braids. Both processes are similar to creating regular braid styles with human hair extensions, though: loose hair extensions are attached at the root of the braid, then braided into the natural hair for a few strokes.
